I know this question has been asked before but why on earth would the order be rescinded?

Pertaining to the citizenship of Obama and the officer who wo uld not follow orders because of its question. this issue is very interesting to me, there is mystery here, and I think I will search the web. It really did not become an issue for a legitimate reason or because of lax indifference.?
