Ok. I downloaded 7zip and i have the rar file i want to extract... where does the file go when i extract it?

LOl.. Ok people you're been good help.... but call me dumm. but I have the file from bit torrent. its a rar file. Its has 51 files... I downloaded 7zip to exact the files I start at 001file and right click and click on exact... but where does the files go once i've exacted all of them. where do i go to find the file so I can convert it to dvd form with my AVS converter program. Could somone give me step by step?
