Do you think sakura could have killed sasuke?

There's no real questions. She was capable (theoretically) of killing Sasuke. She didn't because her heart was not in it. But there's no real question regarding her skills. She knocked out three chuunin (including one who was the best of his generation in root) almost effortlessly, even after they knew what she was trying to do, managed to sneak up on sasuke and could've likely killed him if she had been mentally prepared. As I said, not that different from Naruto. If Naruto grows she'll probably grow too. I've said before that I expect her to be the one to fight and beat zetsu, and if my prediction comes true then all the complaints about Sakura should become moot.
